Warm Winter Mittens

What exactly is the etiquette for mittens?
Is it thumbs in, thumbs out, or one of each!   :-)
Fortunately, I had enough mittens to try out each style.

As I sat in front of the TV last night making them, I had 3 finished before I realised they were all right handed ones!!!
Duh!!

I used the cute, free digi stamp from Birds cards, as a template on scraps of felt,
and embroidery thread for the stitches.
I know it's not very neat but, hey, it all adds to the handmade look :-)

Challenges.
Less is More - Hardware (a little red brad)
Totally Papercrafts - All Stitched Up
Crafty Calendar - Wrap Up Warm For Winter (Optional String/Fibres/Twine)
Stamping Sensations - Traditional Christmas
Sassy Studios - Felt or Fabric

  19. Hello,
I visited your blog today. It is so lovely, and you have many creative ideas. I like the red mittens. Your name caught my eye, 'Kiss, Keep in Sweet and Simple' because that is what our blog is all about too. I see that you also have two beautiful daughters. Me and my daughters have a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with simplicity, and it is very cheerful to me. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
