Holiday Cheer

Afternoon everyone.
I hope something has made you happy today -
for me it's been the little things -
like smuggling in an almond croissant, when I'm supposed to be dieting (shhh..)
actually being in when a parcel arrived and not having to treck to the parcel depot,
but most of all, it's for my new Tescos having hand held scanners -
no more unpacking and repacking a trolley full of groceries :-)

Here's another simple reindeer card for the pile.

I know a lot of you make this size card, (approx 106 x 148mm)
and I bought some Papermania cardstock especially to make some.
The trouble is the card is just too flimsy - it's 216gsm.
Which cardstock do you use?

I ended up trimming down a larger card base that I had,
and used my papermania card as a strip, down the side.

I've got this little chap but he hasn't been out for a leap this year, I think I'll have to rectify that, he looks terrific on this super card!
Thanks so much

Really cute card, love the simplicity and clean-cut style! As for card, I find a plain smooth 300gsm cardstock is the best for me, I have to add layers to it if I need to print though as my printer is not keen on heavier card - adding a lughter card layer means I get clean, crisp prints through my printer, but heavier gsm cardstock makes the cards feel "right"...if you know what I mean! I order through Soho Paper online....HTH x

Gorgeous card - love the layout. I'd go for 300gsm card too - Anna Maria Designs sell some good stuff.

Thanks for joining us at The Crafty Girls Challenge.
