You had me at hello

It's such a lovely day here in north Durham, that I snapped a picture of my card on the back lawn.
I just hope no-one was watching, when it was caught by a gust of wind, which sent me scurrying after it!

This card is for my brother John and my inspiration came from Therese's fabulous card over at the Muse challenge.

It's the first time I've tried this technique with the sentiment die (where you cut the die into your base card, then cut it again from coloured card and pop this piece into the space). I'm not sure I did it quite right - I should have kept the little pieces of white card from some of the letters - but, I like how it looks and I'll definitely be giving it another go.

  4. Your card is fabulous Caroline! I agree, leaving the centres out of the die cut seems to add a real edge to your card and I know your brother will love it. ps Your comment did work on my blog I just had to retrieve it from my spam folder, thanks so much for taking the time you have made my day.
