While the cat's away, the mice will play!

House Mouse Challenge are celebrating their 2nd Anniversary with a special sketch and a blog hop.
Congrats ladies   xxx
You need to enter the challenge, visit the DT and collect the cheese  :-)
There are some fab prizes on offer and still plenty of time to enter.
(See the blog for full details)

Here's my entry.

I followed Lorraine's lovely sketch, just rotated it for my image to fit.
'Spoon Fed' is coloured with Copics and a little stickles glitter.
I know the stitching looks black, but in real life it's green!
Once my card and ribbon were layered up, I added a Craftwork Cards sentiment, the adhesive pearls and heart buttons.
Design Paper is DCWV Nan's Nursey, Baby Girl.

B is for Balloon

Afternoon everyone...
it's my Wedding Anniversary today,
25 years!!!
So I am having a chill out, crafting, blogging day
:-)
I have discovered the new post editor,
and  thought I would be brave and have a play with it.
I like the way that you can choose your image size easily.

This week's House Mouse & Friends challenge is
the letter 'B',
so, for my entry,  I chose this cute stamp with balloons,
coloured with Copics and the little mouse about to pop the balloon
is 3D'd.
I just love the expression on his face!
The paper is My Mind's Eye
(a freebie in Cardmaking and Papercraft's magazine)
and it's so gorgeous I didn't want to cover it up too much.

Do you like my bow?
It took me forever to tie that...
top of my 'to buy' list is a bow easy!

Stamp - House Mouse Pop-Ular Fun
Design Paper - My Mind's Eye - Summer
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon and adhesive pearls from my stash.

Mint Magic

I took a tumble yesterday (no, I hadn't had a single alcoholic drink! )
so I can imagine taking a nice, warm bath in Mint Tea..
just like these little guys.
I love the expressions on their faces.

It's the first time I've used this stamp,
and I was a bit worried about colouring it,
but it turned out ok.
I wanted to make the little tag 3D, so I decoupaged it and added a bit of string,
with a staple on the tag and just pushed through the card at the top end.

I'd like to enter this for a couple of challenges
1. The great sketch over at Papertake - I do like these sketches where I can use my bigger stamps, and some of these House Mouse ones are BIG.
2. House Mouse & Friends - where the theme is **Sweet**

  • Stamp - House Mouse, We're 'Mint Tea' Be Together.
