Time to Party

We would like to see anything with a party theme. 

The challenge is open til January 5th, so plenty of time for you to play along.

I used this fun image from Karen's Doodles, coloured with Copics, some glamour dust on the soap suds and a little glossy accents on her mobile phone and cocktail.

Snow Fun

Holidays

Now, I instantly thought of the Christmas Holiday season, 

but you could make your project any type of Holiday theme.

 Our sponsor this week is the terrific Karen's Doodles and I used their cute First Snowfall digi.
 I cut my background black card to fit my card blank and then made a patchwork up with the DP. I have lots of little scraps of paper, so this is a great way to use them up.

The image is coloured with Copics and some fine silver glitter and then popped up, onto a piece of dot embossed card. I also added a little glossy accents to the snowman's 'coal' pieces.

I found a really old snowflake stamp in my Christmas box, so I stamped it with silver ink and then embossed it with clear powder.

IRL it looks really pretty
and adds a bit of texture.

Here's Mary,  my Bovine Beauty, from Karen's Doodles (hubby says she's more of a Gertrude, but I don't see it!) :-)  

Mary is paper-pieced, coloured with Copics, with glossy accents on her nose.

The DPs are Prima, Sweet Fairy.

Time To Relax

How clean is your mobile phone?? I gotta tell you, mine is SPOTLESS! A 30 degree wash, with Persil Bio powder and a fabric softener will get out all those little marks!!!

I think I may have saved it just in time - it's drying out nicely, in the sunshine. :D)

I made this card for hubby's birthday - just loved the image of him and the dog, lazing in the sunshine. Should be a bottle of beer in his hand though!! lol**

It's coloured with Copics and I added a little glitter to some leaves - as if the sun is shining on them.

Bling It On - Digi stamp + some Bling. (Hope there's enough on there!)

Karen's Doodles - Lots of Layers. (hope there's enough layers on this to qualify. I admit, I did cheat a little. I used a nestie for the circles, but I don't have the next die up, to layer it - so I went around the circle with a black Copic, to give the appearence of a layer of card underneath.)
