My girls are all grown up now, but I still like to make them a little Valentine's treat.This year I have gone for some lovely, soft, black and red liquorice,
layered up in a kilner jar,
with a matching red and black note card.
This is perfect for the challenge over at
Creative Inspirations,
where the theme is 'Red & Black Valentine'.
I have recently seen people using beads on their projects,so I thought I would give this a try.
After stamping the heart, I pierced random holes in it with a pin
(I'm sure you must be able to buy a tool that does this more easily!)
and then I stitched on some little, tiny red beads with invisible thread.
It doesn't photo very well, but the actual look is really good
and it's nice to add some texture to the card.
