Up, up and away!

Hey there,
hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
The TV is permanently tuned to Sky Sports, here - which is fine -
it gives me chance to disappear into my craft room :-)

Here's the card I made this morning.

I'm beginning to see the benefits of  making this size card base - 113 x 149
Stamps that I had neglected because they were just a tad too small for a 148 x 148 card, are now getting inked up.
This cute cat is a prime example. It had been tucked away for so long, that it was stuck to the plastic cover.
As I prised it off, I really though it was going to tear.  Have you ever had that? I almost took to warming it up with a hairdryer, but I thougt that might  make it worse!!

As you can see below, my cat is fussy cut and popped up on foam pads.

Challenges.
Retro Sketches - #106
Pixie's Snippets Playground - #116  If there's a dp I like, I find myself saving even the tiniest snippets. These little banners are a good way to use them up and add a touch of interest to your card.
Penny Black & More - So Sweet
Craft Calendar - Animal Antics

Supplies.
Cat Stamp from Penny Black Bubbly Set, coloured with Copics.
Sentiment, Penny Black Critter Party Set
DP - My Mind's Eye, Quite Contrary
Pearls and Sequin

Super cute!! Fabulous colouring. It feels like football has been on permanently in my house all week too so today I had a lovely walk out with Oliver and his Mum & Dad at Slimbridge - the Wetlands just up the road from us - it was beautiful.
Enjoy your evening.

Lovely to see your so-cute card in the Snippets Playground. Delightful kitty with his balloons, and I really love the tiny snippet banners at the top. Loved the KISS too. When I worked, that was something my manager would always say to me, and folks would look at us strangely. I knew exactly what he was saying to me, and it wasn't smooch either!!! He was telling me "Don't over-complicate this." So funny. TFS & Hugs.

I love your little banners. Not had any stamps actually tear but when they are hard to peel off am surprised how much they do stretch. hugs Mrs A.

Hi Caroline,
WOW! What a fantastic card. Your colouring is perfect.

I always struggle with CAS cards as they always look 'under done'!!

Hope you have a lovely day xx.

Brilliant Caroline! I do adore that sweet image and the patterned banners are gorgeous.

Err, I HAVE torn a stamp - my fault though as I accidentally stuck it onto a perspex block that's covered with High-tac stuff for unmounted red /grey rubber stamps. Acrylic does have a breaking p point I found, sigh :(
