And That's A Wrap

Hello.
Today I'm sharing a simple snippets card with you, that I made for my eldest daughter.
She completed her PhD, in cardiac physiology, a while ago, but the ceremonies were cancelled, due to COVID.
A couple of weeks ago she finally got to wear the floppy hat ! :-)

Alphabet dies are great for using up even the smallest snippets of card.
Here, I layered a few pieces together, and coloured the top layer with my ecoline brush pens (great pens if you want a bold, vibrant colour).
Getting the letters in a perfect line is always tricky, so I didn't even attempt it here - and I like the more relaxed result.

And here's a photo of my daughter in her coveted floppy hat and gown,
with my grandson, Bailey.

GREEN RAINBOW

Hello.
This week it's St Patrick's Day,
so I've followed the cue over at the
Inspired By Challenge
and created a green rainbow.

I'm embarrassed, I don't have a single rainbow stamp in my stash.
This rainbow was made by taping together my oval nestbilities, building the rainbows with the different shades of green card, and then simply cutting them in half.

We know there's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow,
but this cute piggy is just happy to chill out amongst the flowers!

Paint The Town Red

The Less is More challenge had me digging around in my stash again this week :-)  I finally came up with this Sizzix dress die, that I bought years ago and only used a couple of times.

A girl has to have at least one sparkly, party dress, doesn't she?? So I covered this one with fine red glitter and added a black ribbon and pearl belt.
I used silver ink for the sentiment and added the line with a silver pen.
