Happy Candle Blowing Day

Hello.
It's cold and windy out there today, so I thought I would hole up in my craft room and do my snippets 'homework'. I delved into my stash box and found some pieces of design paper that I could use with these candle dies.

I know this card looks simple, but it took me a ridiculous amount of time to finish.
Once I had cut the candles from design paper there were 2 pieces of the flame to glue on, then the white overlay, and for good measure, I added a foam layer for a bit more oomph! I hope you can see that 3D in the photo below.

Here's a picture of the design paper snippets I used.
Yay! I can't believe I remembered to take this :-)
I also managed to use snippets of white card and yellow card (for the flames).

Absolutely - cake and cocktails are a permanent fixture in the Playground since Sarn became my 'partner in crime'! I'm still having to rein her in and suspect that will always be a case if there's mischief to be made.

A lovely card and I can totally see how it must have taken ages to make - super use of snippets and very worth the effort!

Of COURSE there's cake and cocktails for our celebrations - come and find the usual suspects up in the Treehouse!

Thank you for getting your homework done and into the Snippets Playground. The candles make a fun card - even if they were a bit time consuming! xxx

Splendid card! So clean and bright and fun. It's always awesome when we can use up some snippets.
