Let some sunshine in

I had a call today to say that my SIL has been rushed into hospital
and is having tests to see what is wrong. So, although this card was going to be a thankyou card,
(as the optional extra challenge over at Just Magnolia) I changed it to Get Well Soon.
I have followed Mina's excellent sketch though, so I am still in with a chance of winning the fabulous Simon Says prize.

A Gem of a Challenge

I am into beads at the moment - so I am trying to find a way to add them
to all my cards...lol*
I think I may have gone overboard with this one. :-)
I added tiny crystal beads to Milly's wellies,
pearl beads on her coat for buttons and
I tried to make the silver bugle beads look like rain.

Morgan - Get Well Card

Hello,
here's my second attempt at doing some stitching on a card.
I think it looks very effective and it adds a nice weight to the finished card.
Just having started I only have a few stamps,
but this is definitely one of my favourites.


The stamp is from Whipper Snapper.
I coloured it with Promarkers.
It's taking me some time to get used to them, but hopefully my shading techniques
will get better with practice.
