Pink Petticoat Trio

I wanted to share with you a trio of cards that I have made today.
I have just discovered the gorgeous work at Pink Petticoat
The incredibly cute downloads caught my eye, but there are also papers and sentiments to download and CD's to buy.
I have used the downloads for Lola Rose ~ 'you make me feel bubbly'
at just £2.99 for the zip kit of 6 images.
I have a feeling I will be going back for more before too long.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Hello,
I've just discovered Sketch Saturday and had a go at this week's great sketch by Jo.
I really enjoyed doing this one, so hop over there and have a look at the gorgeous cards made by the design team.
I decided this was going to be a Father's Day Card,
but I got so engrosed in it, I ended up adding Happy Birthday by mistake!!
The cute little stamp is one of the Penny Black - Bubbly set.
The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, as are the little brown dots -
they call these Card Candy and they come in all sorts of colours,
they are the perfect size to be fixed with little foam squares
and they look really effective.
The ribbon is from my blog candy win over at Raspberry Ribbons. Their little tins full of ribbon and embellishments are a really great idea.

Cupcake Craft Challenges

It's my first time over at Cupcake Craft Challenges
and they have some wonderful creations from their design team, to inspire you.

Challenge 22 is a great sketch by Donna.

Here is my attempt at it.

The cute little hedgehog stamp is from Penny Black Critter Party
and I finally got to use my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One Dies.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Hello,
I've had a go at Dawny's Sketch #6,
over at Papertake Weekly Challenge
Have a look at the DT cards there, they are so cute.
I have used a Penny Black Bubbles stamp and added some little adhesive pearls (from Papermania )
and Stickles glitter, to the bubbles.
I am so jealous of those people who can take great photos of their cards,
it takes me forever to get a picture worth posting and the colours look a bit washed out.
Let me know if you have any photo tips.

Hello,
Happy New Year to everyone, hope you have had a lovely holiday time.

I was delighted to find out that I won the blog candy from Raspberry Ribbons Kits & Sketches (thankyou Caroline and Kerry),
so I headed over there again to try their Sketch 12 Challenge.
They have some great designers on their blog, to give you inspiration and whilst you're there check out their new January subscription kit in black and white.

This card is for my daughter's boyfriend, and the Woodware Clear Magic Playtime stamp is so cute. They come in a set with a boy on a bike and a boy playing with a ball, plus a rucksack, a dog, a ball etc. They're good value for money,
I got mine from Handy Hippo

The sentiment is from Craftworkcards

Handbag cards

Hello,
today I managed to find a little time to craft -
in between wrapping presents and writing more Christmas lists.
I am a serial list writer!!

I wanted to do something different from all the seasonal cards I have been making recently,
so I made a couple of handbag cards
with bits and pieces from a
Craftwork Cards goodybag and some
Blooms to Go and ribbon from
Poppicrafts.

Snowman Soup

This week's treat is Snowman Soup.
This is a cute idea that I have seen done in different ways on the net -
check out Angie Kennedy's Chic n' Scratch for Snowman Soup in jars,
complete with poem -
but this is my take on it.
I have filled icing bags with hot chocolate mix,
plain and milk choc chips and mini marshmallows.
Tied them up with ribbon
and taped a peppermint, candy, cane to the side of the cone.

Christmas Critters

Hi,
I managed to get all of my Christmas Cards
made a couple of weeks ago ~ for once I was ahead of the game.
Now I am writing them and getting them ready to post out.
Here's a couple I made earlier.. lol*

The stamps are Penny Black Critters.
These are the clear, unmounted stamps
and because you get about 12 stamps in a set, it makes them great value for money.
I used whispers pens to colour them and the messages are from CraftWork Cards

Raspberry Ribons Kits and Sketches - Sketch 10

This is only the second sketch I have ever done
and it comes from the lovely blog
http://www.raspberry-ribbons.blogspot.com/

Check it out.
Create a card from the sketch and leave a comment on their blog and you could be in with a chance of winning some great blog candy.

This card uses one of the cute Forever Friends Stamps,
coloured with Whispers Pens.
The little dots are Card Candy from
http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/embellishments_list.asp?type=emb&embellishment=156
They stick on with small foam pads, and look just like brads.

Chewing Gum with a Kick

How cute are these little jars?
When I bought them I had no idea what to use them for, but they are the perfect size to fill with chewing gum.
The gum is Airwaves ~ cherry menthol and black mint.
I thought they were a handy size for my daughters' to keep in their bags, on those cold, dark walks home from Uni.
