Love You To The Stars And Back

Hello. Here's an 'out of this world' card I made for my grandson's 3rd birthday.
It's a spinner/slider card and he found it lots of fun.

It's been a while since I made one of these, so I had to head over to YouTube for a demonstration. Then, because I don't have any of the special, little slider discs, I used a couple of pennies and some cut down foam tape and it all works perfectly.

The background was a piece of blue card with added distress inks, splattered with water and white paint. Then I went a bit overboard and stamped some stars with white ink and drew some with a white gel pen.

It's Fiesta Time

Hello. Finally I've found some time to get into my craft room, and I'm excited to be playing along with the new AAAColourful challenge. Congrats to the DT over there - I'm looking forward to having fun and seeing all their fab inspiration.

Here is my card for their first challenge, where they would like to see a rainbow of colours.

I used a strip die to cut my rainbow card, and attached it to a panel with DS tape. Then I added my die cut, and copic coloured pooches with some foam tape.

Blow Out All The Candles

Hello.  This was a tricky card for me. I know it looks simple, but if I'm not using stamps with animals, or people, then I struggle a bit. To help me out I used the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

The candles are all die-cuts, stuck together (I used some 'stick it' sheets to make this easier) and then adhered to a card panel, where I had already stamped the centre sentiment.  I just snipped off the excess bit of candle.

I added the scallop piece from a frame die cut, and some glossy accents on those flames.

Challenge

  • concord and 9th - make a wish stamps and dies
  • ecoline real brush pens
  • glossy accents
  • mft dienamics stitched rectangle scallop edge

I'm Quackers About You

Hello. Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and the shops are crammed with hearts and roses, cuddly toys with red ribbon bows,  and heart shaped chocolates. I've been married for 39 years this year, and I am so over all that - well, maybe not the chocolates   :o)
I still love my husband to bits though - so here's a red-less, pink-less Valentine's card for him.

I die cut my letters into a card panel, and backed it with blue card. Then I used the cute duck as the 'O' and added the sentiment and a scalloped frame.

You Are The Cutest Thing

Hello. I'm so happy to see that the Addicted to Stamps and More  is back with us.
Good luck to the Design Team who are keeping the doors open. I'm sure I'm not the only one who  appreciates all the extra work you're doing.

This time they're looking for die cuts and/or stencils.

This was a quick card to put together. Just some basic stamping and die cutting and a touch of easy colouring. To go with the sentiment, each dog has his own treat :o)
