Yay!   If there's a doggy themed challenge - I'm there :-)

I do love a versatile stamp, and I thought this set, with the door and plants would be really useful.

Here, I've combined it with a cute little pup, who's just waiting for you to come home and party.

SHAKE IT

Hello.
I'm going full OTT today, with a stamped, shaped, shaker card.
Try saying that 3 times, quickly 😀 

This large cupcake die was out on my desk when I was thinking about the shaped card challenge at AAABirthday.
I part stamped it on folded cardstock, and then die cut it - leaving the left side attached, to create the card.

Then I thought it would be fun to make it into a shaker card!
I die cut the 'frosting' part and then fussy cut the centre out - attached my acetate, filled it with a generous amount of sequins, and used foam tape to attach it to the card.
It doesn't matter what I do, I still end up with sequins sticking to the edges!!

BUNNIES IN CARS

Hello.
Today I'm sharing some bunnies in cars :o)

I do love these cute, little bunnies, and I'm surprised at how versatile they are.
Here, I've kept them all the same, with yellow cars, to echo the colours in the Inkspirational photo.
I didn't manage the rain though - it's a top down, sunny day for these rabbits.

Hello.
No overthinking my card today - 
just a simple die cut, coloured with zigs
and placed in rows.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

For a little more interest I added a dew-drop centre to my die cuts,
and finished with a simple sentiment.

TAKE A SEAT

Hello.
Since I blew my craft budget for Spring,
I'm trying hard not to look at all the lovely, new releases.
I'm not sure how long I can hold out,
but for now I'm taking a leaf out of Kerry's book,
over at Inkhillrevival and digging into my old and little used, stash.

Pop over to Kerry's blog and see how to get more out of your supplies.
For this card I followed her advice to use a single image, and just switch out the colours/backgrounds.
This was also a great way to use up some of those scraps of design paper we all have.

It took me a while to decide which sentiment to use, but in the end I went with 'missing you' - wouldn't we all like to pull up one of those chairs and sit with our friends and family, right now?

SPRING IS SWEET

Hello.
I'm in cupcake heaven today,
with the inspirational photo for this week's

                      Inspire By Challenge

There were lots of different combos to choose from there,
but I went for a cake on the top row - with lime frosting and purple violets.
I feel a craving coming on!

EASTER CRAFTS

Hi there.
No card from me today, instead I'm sharing a few crafty/baking things!

First up is this little baby cardigan.
I can't tell you how chuffed I am with how this turned out.
It's the first time I've knitted any type of garment, and I only managed it with the fabulous pattern and step by step videos from So Woolly

And it fits!!
Here's my Grandson wearing it.

We were so happy this Easter, to be allowed an outside BBQ / get together.
So, we combined a Birthday celebration with a much delayed baby shower :o)

I made a giant cupcake cake,
with a chocolate base.

I used blue chocolate melts for the case - which was really easy to do - 
and came out of the tin perfectly.

The cake was chocolate, sandwiched with raspberry jam
and frosted with vanilla buttercream.

Yummy!

Then I made some very simple, but cute chocolate pots.
Chocolate Angel delight in the bottom,
with a layer of crushed oreos and a sprig of mint.

It wasn't the warmest of days outside,
but we were just all so happy to be able to be together.
I hope you've managed to see your friends and families,
and stayed safe and well.

I'm keeping it sweet and simple today :o)
with this SOY AWESOME card for my dd's birthday.

These are my favourite cards to make -  a little animal with a simple background and just enough cute details to make it interesting - and, of course, minimal colouring  ;o)
