Kimono Card

I don't think I've ever made a different shaped card before,
but when I saw this challenge over at
Digital Tuesday,
I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I made a Kimono shaped card, inspired by my new
Japanese Dollies from
Craftwork Cards.

The design paper is Papermania, Raspberry Champagne
and the sentiment and card candy are also from Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon and brad are from my stash.

Cherry Kisses

Big hugs to Pollycraft, who generously emailed me this
download and some papers, from their new design -
'Cherry Kisses'.
Isn't she cute?
Check out their website for more designs.

This card was made with the fab sketch over at
Sketch & Stash Challenge.
The new stash that I used is the digital stamp
and the blue lace.
I must admit that I do struggle with
colouring digital stamps, the printer ink just runs no matter what I do.
I have heard of an inkjet fixing spray that I might have to try.
There are too many cute digital images out there for me to give up
on them :-)
Design Paper is Papermania, Sweet Nothings.

Pink Birthday Somethings

The challenge over at
Stamp Something

My project is a little criss cross box,
filled with bath salts.
The box template and instructions can be found
on the awesome blog of Nichole Heady
Get yourself a coffee,
pull up a chair and go and investigate her blog,
it is just full of wonderful projects.

include at least one of their products.

This week's Stamptacular challenge is a card for Mum.
As Mother's Day has been and gone here in the UK,

that was tough...lol**
and I used her fav. colours.

coloured with whispers pens.
Swirls are Sizzix Dies.
Design Paper is Papermania - Nostalgia Warm.

Card File

Well, my first 3D project of the day
ended up in the bin...
with much gnashing of teeth and a few choice words!!
Then I came across a tut for this 'card file'
and thought it would be a great idea for the 'flowers',
Secret Crafter Challenge.
If you need inspiration for this challenge
check out the fabulous work of the DT.

I followed the excellent tutorial from Blythe,
which 4" x 6" cards fit into.

I used the gorgeous, downloadable 'cherish'
design papers from Funky Fairys
and a punch to make the flowers.

Happy Bank Holiday Weekend

Hello everyone,
hope you are all enjoying the weekend
and have some of the sunshine that has come our way.
I feel very lazy today,
unlike most people in this neighbourhood,
I am neither washing the car, nor mowing the lawn!!
:-)
Instead, I have made this card for the
Funky Fairys Challenge.
It's a brilliant sketch, designed by Joanne,
which has given me the chance to use some of my new
'card candy' and sentiments from
Craftwork Cards.
The gorgeous design papers are from
Funky Fairys 'Cherish' set,
and the stamp is Penny Black.
I have added Glossy Accents on the balloons, to make them shiny,
and dabbed a little bit of glitter here and there.
